I had a similiar problem at level 80. Whole group was dead in like 3-4 seconds after engaging the first 2 trash mobs. Got hit for over 6k max. Guild mates said level 125 works fine.
The trash isn't scaling properly. I had to drop down to my lvl 5 Persona to get through it and even then it took forever. Based upon my parse, it appears as if the trash mobs are anywhere from x5 to x10 the boss in terms of health (~210 for boss at level 5/6 vs 1k/2k for trash) and x3 for damage (max hit 17 for boss on merc tank, max hit 53 for trash on merc tank).
At lvl 70 with mostly Anguish gear I got 1 rounded with hits for 4700.

Description: Clicking on the Oasis of Fire key actually gives the Oasis of Swamps group mission. Re-clicking after completing the Oasis of Swamps mission says "The magic of this key needs more time before the key can perform." As if it is on cooldown. Checking /tasktimers does not show Oasis of Fire on cooldown.

I had the same problem. I could not start Oassi of Fire but was not sure if I miss clicked something. Several people in guild were reporting the same issue.
Just tested the tower again.
This is still the current state of the tower at level60 and the patch is in two days.
I completed the Repaired Key of Swamps. I clicked it to get the group task Oasis of Swamps. But I am unable to get into the door on floor 9.
"The way is blocked to you. Perhaps you would be able to enter if there was a reason to come here."
When I click on Repaired Key of Fire I get the message .... "The magic of this key needs more time before the key can perform."
Looks like Oasis of Swamps is broken and not letting me in. And it is also locking out the Key of Fire task.

I was able to get in in and complete the group task Oasis of Swamps.
When I completed the key, I clicked it in Swamp of no Hope to get the task. This one did not work.
I dropped the task and waited the 1 hour for the request time to reset. I then clicked the key again, this time in the tower, to get the group task Oasis of Swamps. I was able to click the door and zone in.
I was able to click the other 8 keys outside the tower to get the tasks and they all worked. This is the first one that didn't work when clicking the key outside the tower.
I am still unable to get the group task for floor 8 when clicking the key of fire.

I can wait the 1 hour request timer and see if I can do the 8th floor.
I was able to click on the 7th floor key and got the group task Oasis of the Jungle. I'll work on all of the others and come back to floor 8.
I'm working my way down the tower.
Floor 8 is still locked out.
Floors 7-4 worked fine.
Floor 3 Oasis of Forests is bugged. I got all the NPCs killed and it said I need to kill the decaying skeletons. Nothing is up in the zone. Everything including the named is dead.
Floors 2 and 1 worked fine.

I waited the 1 hour for the request timer to finish. Still locked out of Fire (floor 8). Says I have to wait 5 more hours.

I had this, too. I tried again the next day and then it worked.
