After the first wave of enemies the scond stays unatackble. Level 101. Tried 3 times with the same outcome.

Attempt one at Oasis of Fear - the second wave can spawn before the task update making it so you cannot complete the task if you kill them.

Attempt two at Oasis of Fear - it looks like its trying to push two different quest options? My first time in it wanted me to kill two desiccated corpses then two desiccated corpses. This time it wanted me to kill two egg sacs which I did and got zero update.

I had to kill 2 egg sacs that counted and the second ones did not advance. Killed all egg sacs and spider was not attackble. Several peopel reporting that they cannot fisnish Oasis of Fear through quest not updating. I am level 101.

I had an instance of Oasis of Fear where I had 2 sets of egg sacks and 1 set of corpses. It had me first start killing one of the sets of egg sacks, of which none of them progressed the quest. But in the middle of attacking them, the corpses started to activate.

There also seems to be some kind of delay when inspecting the nest. If you "inspect" it right away, nothing happens. You have to wait a few minutes before it starts to work.

I have gotten two distinct versions of Oasis of Fear, one with corpses/egg sacs and another with just plain egg sacs. In both instances, nothing completes the second step of destroying.

I've run Oasis of Fear multiple times. Successfully completed it twice. I believe the following bugs exist at the moment:

1. It needs to have the update (room exploration tasks) changed so you can do this out of order. Otherwise, the mission can be uncomplete-able if you kill something in a further wave before you get that task update.

2. The zombies seem to activate in a time-based way (and too short) rather than the next wave activating only when you've completed the previous wave & done the intermediate exploration step.

3. If you get the instance with 4 or 6 egg sacs, there's no way to tell which two are associated with the first wave, so you're just guessing which you need to kill to progress & you can't do them out of order atm how it's programmed (see above).

4. The final boss needs an intermediate step to step towards it to activate similar to other missions. Right now it just charges you even if you're still killing the spawned little spiders from previous steps.

I've only been able to complete the mission when I get the version with 6 zombies and being very careful about killing them top down + getting the explore task update even while the other waves are beating on me before I kill them. It may be the egg sacs are bugged completely, but it's also atm afaik impossible to determine which ones to kill in which wave since they don't activate.

Hope that helps in finishing the development of this one.

Cannot log into TEST

Suddenly, Windows Defender decided all my eqgame.exe files (I run 6 toons, each in it's own folder) has a trojen virus in it, and it auto quarantines that file, effectively deleting it, so when I re-run the EQ Launcher, it re downloads the eqgame.exe file, then Windows Defender auto quantines it all over again.

Trojan:Win32/Beerfoos.A!ml

It seems to be a false positive, according a quick internet search.

EDIT: Apparently someone fixed the issue overnight. I'm all good now.

It looks like they updated Oasis of Fear mission. It still is bugged.

You go to the nest, get the updated. Two corpses aggro. Then, shortly after, the next mobs (spiders) aggro. Then 2 more corpses, then more spiders. However, you can still kill them out of order and the mission doesn't update. You also end up with about 12 mobs on you at once because the waves don't wait for the previous one to be done to spawn.

Even if you kill them, if you kill the mobs out of order, you're cooked because the mission will stop

Oasis of Fear didn't work for me, either. The egg sac kills didn't update and now im stuck on the spider not aggroing
Have tried 3 times this week. Explore area, get the update. Next step, clear 2 egg sacs. Kill an egg sac, 2 spiders spawn, kill those. No update. Mission is over at this point more or less.

Can clear out the room of all egg sacs and blue con spiders but no update. After clearing boss will not activate.

Have not seen the zombies that other players have mentioned yet.

Its beatable but the script is horrible

I spam ran the 1st room when tower went live to stockpile coin, now I just one and done these and never go back. Not worth the headache.

Required levels for enchanting Honed Reflective Emberquartz and Honed Reflective Luclinite have been adjusted
The scrolls for Honed Reflective Emberquartz now show level 110/111 instead of 121 but it looks like they stil require level 121 to be scribed.
There is no Honed Reflective Luclinite. There is Honed Bloodied Luclinite and Honed Spiritual Luclinite and they are still at level 105.
