Is there a long range aggro disc or AA for incoming pulls for warriors?

like, it's not killer? the top rank of Bellow is 4800 agro on application, the real agro isn't until 18s later. Roar's 21000 or Infuriate is 28000. Other, longer reuse, war abilities are more. Boastful isn't what's making this whole scenario squiffy. There's something wrong with mobs being "pulled" but not being within 100' to be tagged, and something about have to "run all over" to get them. Its like they're not actually being pulled at all, the puller in question is just f'n around across the zone.

The puller runs to the tank, but if the tank lags, and doesn’t tag it within a specific window of time, it splats the puller, so he fades. The mob then jumps whoever is close, which is sometimes the tank and sometimes a softie. If the pulls come from a specific direction, you can just position the softies out of the way, but doesn’t help when pulls come from any direction. Being able to tag farther out just means less chance of a delayed tag. I just remembered being able to do it out farther before but couldn’t find it now. Maybe I was imagining it.

I will try the sonic dissonance though, thanks.

I guess I focused on the pushback. I didn’t think about as a pulling tool. Thanks.
Despite the description, it doesn't actually do a pushback or the pushback is so small, it's barely a nudge. Silent Displacement is the one that does the fling and agro wipe, which is useful for splitting mobs (fling the mob NEXT to the one you actually want to pull and it will come solo).

Also, just going to point it out to avoid confusion, Sonic Disturbance is the pulling tool, not Sonic Dissonance (different AAs).

I was wondering how to use that. Thanks.

Fyi, there a large number of variables on pull agro in eq. One of those is mob intelligence, undead and animals will typically be flagged to attack the nearest person they enter into melee range of until the tank establishes very solid agro, well beyond what’s normal for a mob flagged to be considered intelligent. You can beat this by invising the group so that your softies aren’t on the mob’s hatelist as it approaches and having the puller fully pass the tank until the mob arrives, and then backing up to melee after the mob is on the tank. Once you get the tank next to the mob with some agro things proceed normally afaik, this is just an initial low agro thing.

Knights can beat this but it’s more of a problem for warriors obviously. Knowing the mob’s intellect rules can inform your pulling/tanking setup, but tbh as a puller/tank, getting the dps slapped in the back of the head every once in a while is a fun thing (less fun if they desperately need to level/gear up and explode into a bloody mist instantly, tho ymmv).
