anyone know what happens to the tower next month when the year of darkpaw ends?

does the merchant stay up... disappear from the game forever... come back next year's anniversary season (and therefore every tlp?)...?

Tower goes away at the January update, then comes back annually during Anniversary season for about 6-8 weeks or so.
